Sew 2Gether Quilting Supplies and Services offers longarm quilting service, high-quality 100% cotton quilting fabric from many different designers, patterns, notions and classes.  Sew 2Gether Quilting is located just outside of Downtown Spruce Pine, North Carolina at Chalk Mountain on Highway 19E. 

I carry Moda, Riley Blake, Henry Glass, Figo, Northcott and Art Gallery Fabrics. Pre-cuts are available in some collections. I carry 50wt Aurifil sewing thread in a variety of colors, Heat and Bond by the yard, a few colors of 2 yard cuts of Cuddle Luxe, Quilt Patterns, EverSewn Sewing Machines and a variety of sewing/quilting notions.

The longarm quilting offered at Sew 2Gether Quilting is done on an Innova Computerized Longarm Machine with a 12′ frame that can accommodate even large king size quilts.  This machine has beautiful stitching and many different patterns to choose from.  It allows for enlarging and shrinking patterns to get just the right density that you’re looking for.

Edge-to-edge quilting, which is one pattern all over the quilt, is the most economical choice.  Custom quilting is available at times when scheduling allows but is significantly more time-consuming and thus, significantly more expensive.

As part of my service, I will pick up and return quilt-tops and finished quilts at a location convenient to the customer in the greater Asheville area if dropping off at my shop in Spruce Pine is not an option for you. Pick-up and drop-off service is free and is typically provided outside of shop hours.  

I have Quilter’s Dream Batting by the yard for sale or you can provide your own. Batting choices available are 100% cotton both natural and bleached, 80/20 cotton/poly blend both natural and bleached and natural wool.  I can order other types of batting at the customer’s request.  I have an assortment of over twenty 108″ wide backing fabrics from Moda, Riley Blake, Henry Glass, Marcus Fabrics, Northcott, Art Gallery and Choice Fabrics to choose from or you can bring your own.  Wide back fabric is always discounted 10% when you schedule longarm quilting service at the time of purchase.

At the time of pickup, we will discuss what you are hoping for in a finished product and decide what type and size of quilting and which batting will work best.  You can browse through the longarm patterns and I will help you find one that’s perfect for what you have in mind.  Additionally, you will be able to choose from a large variety of thread colors to compliment or blend with your quilt top fabrics.  My goal is for my longarm quilting to enhance the beauty of the quilt top you have already created and to produce a finished quilt as close to what you have envisioned as possible.
